Winn down, Heim back, Yerry up, Huff

The Rangers regain their primary catcher in addition to adding a new pitcher to the pen.

Pitcher Yerry Rodriguez was summoned from AAA Round Rock by the Texas Rangers, who also activated Jonah Heim from the paternity list. The Rangers have optioned pitcher Cole Winn and catcher Sam Huff to Round Rock in order to create space for the two on the active roster. Shrug. Heim returned today as anticipated, and he did. Huff returned to Round Rock and filled in as backup catcher while Heim was away. Winn entered the game to provide the Rangers with an additional arm in the pen. Yerry Rodriguez has stepped up to fill in as the additional arm as he has been employed in that capacity and is probably not going to be available tonight. This weekend, Max Scherzer is anticipated to be activated, and Yerry will most likely be sent down then.
