The Colombian striker with the incredible name, Efmamjjasond González, is currently undergoing trials with San Lorenzo in Argentina, following a request from coach Jorge Almirón. Efmamjjasond, a 20-year-old Colombian forward, is trying to secure a spot in the team.
The Striker with 12 Months in His Name
González’s name might look like a jumble of letters, but it actually has a unique logic in Spanish. The letters represent the initials of each month of the year: Enero, Febrero, Marzo, Abril, Mayo, Junio, Julio, Agosto, Septiembre, Octubre, Noviembre, and Diciembre. This forms the name Efmamjjasond, though he prefers the more pronounceable Jasond (pronounced “Hasond” for English speakers).
Jasond Trying His Luck in Argentina
Jasond first made a name for himself at Atlético Nacional in Colombia at 18, scoring against Gremio in the “Copa Mitad del Mundo” under Almirón’s coaching. After moving to San Lorenzo in November last year, Almirón has now invited Jasond to Buenos Aires to prove his worth and make a lasting impression beyond his unique name.
