Chicago wants to maintain its winning streak against Sacramento.
The Utah Jazz (28-34) will take on the Chicago Bulls (29-32) at the Delta Center after a thrilling victory against the Sacramento Kings. The Bulls are playing with a lot of confidence, especially after defeating the Kings 113-109 after trailing by 22 points. It will be interesting to watch if the Bulls can build on this victory and intensify their pursuit of a postseason berth.
Jazz faltering
Conversely, the Jazz have not been playing well lately. They have lost eight of their previous ten games and are no longer eligible for the Western Conference playoffs. With talented center Walker Kessler and former Bull Lauri Markkanen sidelined by injuries, Utah has been severely impacted by injuries. After getting sick in their previous game, Keyonte George, the starting point guard, is also a game-time decision.
Chicago wants to repeat their November 2017 victory over Utah, which they won 130–113. Zach LaVine, who scored 24 points at the time, was still competing for the Bulls, though. Since then, LaVine’s foot surgery has prevented him from playing for the rest of the season.
Torrey Craig might play.
LaVine and Patrick Williams’ season-long absences have left the Bulls’ forward group extremely weak. Torrey Craig, a reserve forward that Chicago acquired in the off-season, could be able to return and assist cover the vacuum. Craig’s status for tonight’s game is labeled as uncertain due to a knee sprain.
Craig will probably play small forward and power forward if he is able to suit up. This adaptability will come in handy while facing the Jazz, who have a frontcourt full of size and strength.
