Tottenham legend joins the roster for EAFC 25

EAFC 25, the latest installment in the popular football game series, is set for release later this month. As part of the build-up, the base ratings for all teams, including Tottenham Hotspur, have already been unveiled.

Tottenham fans have reason to celebrate as Gareth Bale, a former Spurs player, has been added as an icon in the new game. Alongside legends like Gigi Buffon and Lilian Thuram, Bale’s inclusion as an icon is a nod to his impact on the sport.

In EAFC, retired players are categorized into “icons” and “heroes.” While icons represent the elite echelon, heroes are top-tier players who may not have reached the absolute pinnacle. Spurs’ heroes in the game include Robbie Keane, Dimitar Berbatov, Ledley King, Peter Crouch, David Ginola, and Clint Dempsey.

The game also introduces Maicon as a new hero card, allowing players to revisit memorable match-ups.

Bale’s addition is a significant boost for Spurs supporters, who previously had only Gary Lineker as a Spurs icon in the game. Bale, the second Welsh icon following Liverpool’s Ian Rush, features with impressive base stats: 95 pace, 89 shooting, 84 passing, 89 dribbling, 65 defending, and 79 physical, with an overall rating of 88. His primary position is right-wing, with alternatives including right midfield, striker, and left-wing.

While his pace, shooting, and rating might seem slightly underwhelming, and the lack of a left-back position is noted, his status as a game legend is well deserved. Spurs fans eagerly anticipate using him in EAFC 25.
