Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Monaco right-back Vanderson as they seek a replacement for Emerson Royal, who is expected to leave during the summer transfer window, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Pedro Porro is currently Ange Postecoglou’s main option at right-back. However, with Emerson potentially departing, Spurs will need to find a suitable replacement. The Brazilian defender is eyeing a move to Serie A side AC Milan, and Tottenham are targeting Vanderson.
The deal could be costly for the north London club, especially since there’s no guarantee Vanderson would be a starter. Porro had an impressive 2023/2024 campaign, meaning Vanderson might struggle to secure a starting position.

Italian reporter Romano has confirmed that Monaco right-back Vanderson is an option for Tottenham this summer. However, the Brazilian star could cost around £34 million.
