The 6-foot-5 Florida edge rusher summarizes the Nebraska offer and expects to visit.
Having an early understanding of the classes that come after the one you are enrolled in is crucial when recruiting. The Huskers focused on the class of 2025, at least in part, after their 2024 class came to an end with quarterback Dylan Raiola’s big-fish pledge. In an effort to maintain positive relationships with their future top targets, they are also actively recruiting members of the classes of 2026 and 2027.
Jarius Rodgers, an edge rusher from Fleming Island High School in Orange Park, Florida, is six feet five and weighs 200 pounds. He recently received his Nebraska offer and is a potential for 2026. Additionally, he has offers from Georgia, Kentucky, and Liberty universities.
“Nebraska is a pretty good program, and since they are up there in the big D1 schools, that means competing is big. You have to wake up every day to compete and I’m big on that, so getting this offer really made me happy and it shows that they feel that I’m someone who can help them reach the big goal of a national championship,” Rodgers said.
