The Pittsburgh Steelers have two starters back on the field as they continue to prepare for Week 18 against the Baltimore Ravens. After missing the first day of practice, both inside linebacker Elandon Roberts and safety Minkah Fitzpatrick returned as limited participants.
Roberts missed last week after suffering a pectoral injury in Week 16 against the Cincinnati Bengals. He missed all three practices last week and sat out the first drive this week before returning to the field on day two.
He told reporters he plans to return to the field this week against the Ravens, but is taking his injuries one day at a time.
As for Fitzpatrick, he has missed the past two games with a knee injury he suffered in Week 15 against the Indianapolis Colts. His return to training was his first time on the pitch since his injury.
The Steelers are still monitoring injuries to Fitzpatrick and Roberts, as well as safeties Trenton Thompson (neck) and Cam Heyward (groin), who were all limited. Running back Najee Harris (knee) did not practice.
