The millionaire owner of Fulham makes an appearance on AEW following his son’s on-air attack.

Owner of Fulham Shahid Khan debuted on All Elite Wrestling following the kayfabe attack on his son Tony.

Khan, who assumed leadership of the Premier League team in 2013, has contributed financial support to his son’s wrestling career. With the advent of AEW in 2019, WWE has a rival in the US market.

He had refrained from getting personally engaged, though, up until last night (April 24). The 73-year-old made an appearance at the conclusion of the weekly Dynamite program. Forbes lists him as the 164th richest person in the world, with a net worth of $12.1 billion (£9.7 billion).

TNT Sports will provide sports fans with access to matches from the Premier League, Europa League, Serie A, and much more in addition to the Champions League.

Additionally, you can watch the greatest boxing, UFC, WWE, and MLB events live.

It happened after Nick and Matt Jackson, members of The Elite, who along with Tony co-founded AEW, left him splayed out to create the framework for what appears to be one of the most ambitious plots the firm has ever tackled.

The angle revolves around the real-life drama between CM Punk and Jack Perry, who got into a violent altercation during their All-In event at Wembley last year, which caused the former to resign from WWE and then come back.

Perry made a surprise comeback of his own at AEW pay-per-view Dynasty this past weekend, bringing along his newfound’scapegoat’ persona, following an eight-month split.

Instead of trying to diffuse the situation with Tony, he attacked him. Before becoming involved in the beating, the Jackson brothers and Kazuchika Okada, a former New Japan Pro Wrestling star, appeared to offer assistance.

When the concert came to a close, Tony was ostensibly getting medical attention in the middle of the ring when his elderly father emerged, his expression worried. In Jacksonville, where Khan owns the Jacksonville Jaguars NFL team, the audience erupted in applause upon his arrival.

He had previously acknowledged feeling uneasy when Tony, a longtime follower of professional wrestling, suggested that he support a start-up. However, AEW is currently valued at $2 billion (£1.6 billion), making it the third most valuable combat sports promotion globally.

In 2021, Khan stated to Forbes, “I really didn’t think this was a good idea.” However, I did tell Tony, “Look, I’m going to leave you and your sister a lot of money when I die and go.” Why not blow some of  that while I’m alive?.
