The Celtic team at Lennoxtown has been impressed with the January arrival.

Since Nicolas Kuhn joined Celtic in January, Stephen Welsh has made no secret of how thrilled he is.

After joining the team for £3 million, the German winger had trouble getting settled. Due to a health condition, Brendan Rodgers recently revealed how difficult it has been for Kuhn to settle at the club.

And with his recent displays against Livingston and St Johnstone, the Celtic supporters have seen firsthand why Rodgers spent the money he did to get Kuhn to the team now that he appears to be fully recovered.

However, Stephen Welsh is not surprised by what the 24-year-old winger is presently displaying. The Celtic defender actually claims that he and his teammates realized Kuhn was a talented player the moment they saw him in training.

January arrival has been impressing Celtic squad at Lennoxtown
Welsh told the Daily Record, “We observed it during the initial weeks of training.” At a club like this, you have weekly performance expectations, therefore in the past two games, he has been outstanding.

“We brought him into the team because he demonstrated his quality against St Johnstone.”

With an assist in the 1-1 draw with Aberdeen in January, Kuhn made his Celtic debut. However, he hasn’t really taken off since then.

After the 2-1 victory, the Celtic supporters got glimpses of a player at Pittodrie and Easter Road, but Kuhn has since pretended to be dishonest.

It makes sense, too. The German lost a lot of weight as a result of his dental issue, which made him feel weak. It was evident that the German had difficulty eating.

That appears to be behind him now, as Kuhn’s outstanding showing against Livingston was followed by a man-of-the-match performance against St Johnstone on Saturday, suggesting that he is returning to form exactly when we need him.

It appears that we have a player in Kuhn who has the ability to give the Ibrox club a great deal of trouble as the Rangers encounter approaches.
