Ibrahim Sangare may be regretting joining Nottingham Forest after leaving PSV in the summer, according to a Dutch football journalist.
Since Boxing Day, the 25-year-old has not started a game. He has also missed games due to injuries and the African Cup of Nations.
According to Rik Elfrink, Ibrahim Sangare regrets moving to Nottingham Forest.
It’s true that he may have some misgivings after watching PSV com
There are several reasons why his playing time has been limited, and he has only made 12 appearances for the Reds in all.
On August’s transfer deadline, Sangare joined Forest, after PSV was paid £30 million to secure his signing.
Elfrink argues that Sangare might now be regretting the move to the City Ground and that he would have like to have played more for Forest.
“He had such a good time here, in Eindhoven,” he said to Voetbal Zone.I was moved to tears when I saw him before he left in August. He left this place with tears in his eyes, which I didn’t think was very remarkable. Sangare enjoyed his time as a person here in Eindhoven.
“No, it did not turn out to be the ideal step as first anticipated. He belongs in the Premier League, so it’s unfortunate that things haven’t worked out well for him thus far.
Sangare is still a valuable player for the Reds.
Nuno Espirito Santo must bring Sangare back into the Forest squad as soon as possible now that his injury has healed and he is prepared to play again.
It was unexpected for Sangare to play in a 4-2-3-1 against Newcastle on Boxing Day, but he put on a masterful display to control the middle.
Sangare performed admirably at West Ham in November as well, but to be fair, he hasn’t had many standout games.
Sangare wasn’t assisted by Steve Cooper in settling at Forest. When he first joined the team, he acknowledged that he was playing the midfielder in a position for which he wasn’t suitable.
Sangare still has time to establish his value to Forest, considering that he is only 25 years old and cost £30 million.
All the man needs to do is stick to the fundamentals. He has six bookings. Forest supporters should soon begin to witness the Sangare that PSV supporters idolized with a run of regular games.
