His crucial goal came in the 120th minute, securing a victory for the young Black Cats in extra-time. This goal marked the 17-year-old’s second in the Premier League 2, following a previous score against Wolves in the round of 16. Ogunsuyi expressed his elation, stating, “It was amazing, I can’t describe it, but I ran and celebrated once I saw the ball hit the back of the net. To help seal the win was a great feeling.”
