The article, penned by Chris Mannix, intended for the March edition, was centered on USA Boxing’s new transgender policy allowing male boxers transitioning to compete in the female category from 2024. This decision was reportedly relayed by an Arena Group executive, the publishers of SI, just days before the magazine’s release in late February.
