The summer transfer window has officially opened, leading to a significant rise in squad values across the Championship. However, many clubs are constrained by Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations, which might limit activity. Nevertheless, clubs will still seek to strengthen their squads to meet their objectives. Leeds, conversely, must adopt a more strategic approach in their player acquisitions to adhere to financial regulations, though Paraag Marathe has assured that there will be funds available for new signings.
Last season, Wood made 26 appearances for Swansea and, at just 22 years old, has significant potential for growth. According to FBRef, Wood’s playing style is similar to that of Pascal Struijk.
