WAFU B U20 Tournament: Flying Eagles Set to Soar with Exciting Move to Ikenne!
Nigeria’s U20 team, the Flying Eagles, is set to relocate to Ikenne in Ogun State for a crucial final camping program ahead of their participation in the upcoming WAFU B U20 Championship in Togo. They will spend a week training at the well-equipped Remo Sports Institute before heading to Lomé, where they will compete in Group B alongside Burkina Faso and Côte d’Ivoire, aiming to defend the title they claimed in Niger two years ago.
The tournament, scheduled from October 17 to 31, will also feature host nation Togo facing off against Ghana, Benin Republic, and Niger Republic in Group A. This championship will serve as the qualifying tournament for the Africa U20 Cup of Nations, with the top four teams earning a spot at the FIFA U20 World Cup finals in Chile next year.
