Jared Goff Shatters NFL Record in Lions Victory, as Dolphins Stumble in Shocking Defeat to Titans
Tyler Huntley was named the Dolphins’ starting quarterback on Saturday, as backup Skylar Thompson was sidelined with a rib injury. Despite Huntley’s efforts, Miami (1-3) fell short in their comeback attempt. He brought the Dolphins within 10 points by scoring on a one-yard run with 3:40 remaining in the game. However, Huntley was intercepted during the two-point conversion attempt, and the Titans successfully recovered the ensuing onside kick. In a final effort to mount a comeback, Huntley was penalized for intentional grounding in the end zone, which resulted in a safety, adding two more points to the Titans’ lead.
Star receiver Tyreek Hill continued to struggle, recording just 23 yards on four catches, marking his third straight game with under 50 receiving yards. The Titans now enter their bye week before returning to Nashville to host the Indianapolis Colts on October 13, while the Dolphins will look to bounce back as they face the New England Patriots on Sunday.
