This summer, Mitchell Curry, the former striker for Sunderland, Middlesbrough, and Inter Miami, has found a new home with Blyth Spartans, a non-league side in the National League One. After his contract with Darlington expired, Curry signed a six-month deal with Blyth, marking another chapter in his diverse career. Curry, who began his journey with Middlesbrough before moving to Sunderland in 2020, also spent time in Major League Soccer with Inter Miami, where he scored eight goals in 23 appearances. Blyth Spartans’ Steve Howard expressed his excitement about the signing, praising Curry as a proven goal scorer with a strong work rate and overall quality.
The Telegraph reports that all three newly-promoted Premier League clubs—Leicester, Ipswich, and Southampton—are vying to sign Oliver Skipp. Skipp, praised as “fabulous” by Glenn Hoddle, is expected to leave Tottenham before the transfer window closes, with a loan move being the most likely scenario. It seems Skipp will only depart from his boyhood club for another Premier League team, rather than dropping down to the Championship to reunite with Farke.
