Sunderland midfielder Jobe Bellingham has attracted the attention of Italian powerhouse Lazio, as reported by Sunderland Nation. The 18-year-old made his move to the Stadium of Light from Birmingham City last summer, for a fee believed to be around £1.5 to £3 million. Since then, he has become a mainstay in the Black Cats’ lineup, featuring in nearly all of their 30 league games and scoring four goals.
Liverpool is reportedly eyeing Sunderland’s rising talent, Chris Rigg, with several top European clubs closely monitoring the midfielder’s progress. The 16-year-old prodigy made his debut for the Black Cats under former manager Tony Mowbray at the age of 15 in December 2022, and has since made ten more appearances for the North-East club. Notably, Rigg etched his name in Sunderland’s history by becoming the youngest-ever goalscorer for the club at just 16 years and 51 days, finding the net in an EFL Cup clash against Crewe Alexandra in August.
Although not all of the responsibility can be placed solely on Burstow for his goal drought this season, many Sunderland supporters had higher expectations from the young forward on loan from Chelsea. Burstow, aged 20, progressed through the youth systems at Welling United and Maidstone United before making a move to Charlton Athletic in 2020. In his debut season in League One, he impressed by scoring six goals across all competitions, catching the attention of Chelsea.
Central defense is a position Liverpool simply need to add to in 2024, either in January or in the summer transfer window, and Araujo is almost the league’s ideal target.

Lecce could be persuaded to sell if the offer is appealing.
