Is De Zerbi the secret Napoli candidate?

Roberto De Zerbi is emerging as a potential candidate for Napoli after leaving Brighton, despite no interest from Milan and denials from Bayern Munich directors. De Zerbi’s departure from Brighton was officially announced, effective after their final Premier League game against Manchester United. While his background with Milan might suggest a fit, he is not on their candidate list. Additionally, Bayern Munich’s director Max Eberl has denied the possibility of an Italian coach taking over. However, some Italian sources indicate that De Zerbi could be the secret candidate for Napoli as talks with Antonio Conte continue. This would be a return for De Zerbi, who has a history with Napoli both as a player and a coach, and his preferred 4-3-3 formation aligns with Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis’s vision.

James  Milner,  a  midfield  player  for  Brighton  who  left  Liverpool  in  the  summer,  has  been  talking  about  his  friendship  with  former  manager  Jürgen Klopp,  with  whom  he  had  a  great  working  relationship.

Despite the generally harmonious relationship, there were also tensions at times. Milner revealed one such incident on The High Performance Podcast. He recalled the heated half-time altercation that angered Klopp so much that he slammed his hands on the table. Despite that particular clash, Milner insists he has maintained a strong relationship with Klopp both on and off the pitch.
