Former Philadelphia Eagles land on United Football League rosters
Following the merger of two spring leagues, the team representing the City of Brotherly Love failed to secure a spot. The UFL now consists of two conferences: the USFL Conference, featuring the Birmingham Stallions, Houston Roughnecks, Memphis Showboats, and Michigan Panthers, and the XFL Conference, comprising the Arlington Renegades, D.C. Defenders, San Antonio Brahmas, and St. Louis Battlehawks.
