Stoke City are interested in Rotherham United goalkeeper Viktor Johansson

According to journalist Alan Nixon via his Patreon account, Stoke City, based in Staffordshire, is reportedly interested in acquiring the services of Viktor Johansson.

The speculation suggests that the Potters are poised to make an offer for the Swedish goalkeeper once their status in the second tier for the 2024/25 season is confirmed.

Stoke City’s recent 3-0 victory over Plymouth Argyle, a team formerly managed by head coach Steven Schumacher, has further bolstered their hopes of securing Johansson.

Additionally, Nixon reports that Johansson’s contract with Rotherham United includes a relegation clause, potentially allowing him to depart the New York Stadium for a nominal fee, rumored to be around £1 million.
