Sources: Lazio makes fresh proposals for Jack Clarke of Sunderland, Jonathan Rowe of Norwich City, and Morgan Whittaker of Plymouth.

Football Insider has received information from sources that Serie A team Lazio has made a late-window move for Norwich City striker Jonathan Rowe.

NorwichIn the last few hours, the Italian team has also made proposals for Sunderland standout Jack Clarke and Plymouth Argyle sensation Morgan Whittaker.

For the balance of the 2023–24 season, Lazio is looking for a winger with a lot of goals to score as they compete for glory in both the Serie A and the Champions League.

With only a few days remaining before Thursday, February 1st, the transfer deadline, the Rome club has now made an offer for 20, Rowe.

In 31 games across all competitions, he has 13 goals and 4 assists for Norwich.

In October, the adaptable striker earned his debut for England’s Under-21 team and scored against Serbia’s Under-21 team.

Rowe signed a contract extension with Carrow Road two years ago, and it is now valid until June 2025.

The 20-year-old Canaries academy product earned his debut for the first team in the previous season, but he hasn’t yet begun to score frequently this year.

Both Sunderland’s Clarke (13 goals) and Plymouth’s Whittaker (16 goals) have been on a roll in the 2023–24 season, and both teams are being considered for a shortlist by Lazio and Premier League teams.

Next month, the Italian team, now ranked seventh in Serie A, will play Bayern Munich in a two-leg Champions League Round of 16 match.

Norwich is two points from of a play-off spot in the Championship, currently occupying the ninth spot.

In other developments, Championship Club is prepared to take an offer for a veteran of the second division.
