The Denver Nuggets hold the second position.
In SB Nation Reacts, we conduct weekly surveys covering a range of topics across the NBA.
This week’s nationwide survey delved into a subject that Washington Wizards fans might find distant given their team’s current situation – the prospect of winning the NBA Finals in June.
The national survey comprised three questions, each focusing on the victor of the playoffs in both conferences and the eventual champion.
According to respondents nationwide, the Denver Nuggets emerged as the top pick for winning the Western Conference, securing 38% of the votes, while the Minnesota Timberwolves claimed second place with 19%.
Shifting to the Eastern Conference, an overwhelming majority of respondents (82%) expressed confidence in the Boston Celtics as the favorites, relegating the Milwaukee Bucks to a distant second with 7%.
Although the Celtics were identified as the clear frontrunners in the East, this did not necessarily translate to being favored for the NBA title.
However, in a unique twist this year, they are indeed the favorites, with 39% of respondents predicting their triumph in the championship. The Denver Nuggets trailed in second place with 18% of the votes.
