Regarding The Right Wrist Issue, Novak Djokovic Says, “I Think It’s Not A Major Concern”

As he approaches the Australian Open, Novak Djokovic may have a wrist problem this year as opposed to a hamstring last year.

In yesterday’s United Cup victory over Jiri Lehecka, the top seed required medical attention for a right wrist injury.

Djokovic dismissed any subsequent wrist problems.

Djokovic stated, “It happened in the warm-up today before the match.” “I essentially received continuous care before, during, and after the match in an effort to find the best solution for the problem I’m now dealing with.

“I’ve dealt with situations similar to this before at a very high level of professional tennis. I’m aware that in professional sports generally, these things do occur. Even though I may not have been feeling 100%, I was still able to play well and finish the game, so I don’t believe it’s a big deal. Nevertheless, it let me to complete the game.

“Hopefully I’ll have enough time to recover for our afternoon match against Australia tomorrow, which will give us more time.”

Djokovic was unable to participate in the mixed doubles event because of his wrist.

Before his match, Djokovic was also observed receiving treatment for his injured wrist.

Djokovic and Team Serbia will now play Australia in the quarterfinals if the wrist is okay. Djokovic is going to have to contend with a fiery Alex De Minaur.
