Red Bull Salzburg, AC Milan, Juventus, Roma, and Inter Milan are all interested in young attacker Anton Matkovic of Osijek.

An  Italian news outlet, reports this. The Gazzetta estimates that the 18-year-old will cost approximately €5 million.
This summer, Inter is looking everywhere for potential targets for an attack.

One will already be brought in by the Nerazzurri in the shape of Mehdi Taremi. The international Iranian will go from Porto on a free transfer.

Conversely, Alexis Sanchez, a veteran from Arsenal, will make his way out.

The future of Marko Arnautovic is not quite certain. Although the Austrian has a contract with Inter for another season, he could decide to accept a better offer elsewhere.

And Inter could yet look to bolster their striking depth, Arnautovic or not.

The Gazzetta claims that Inter is seriously considering pursuing Matkovic, a striker for Osijek.

At just eighteen, the Croat has comparatively limited senior football experience.

Inter, though, think Matkovic has the proper kind of profile.

The 18-year-old’s height, physicality, and quickness while playing off the back of a defender, in the Nerazzurri’s opinion, would make him an excellent fit in their system.

Furthermore, Matkovic would be less expensive than George Ilenikhena, another young attacker that Inter is considering.

Ilenikhena would require a minimum of €10–€15 million. However, Matkovic would likely fetch a price tag of about €5 million.

Inter is not the only team interested in Matkovic, though.

Rivals in Serie A Milan, Juventus, and Roma are all interested in signing the young striker. Fans also include Red Bull Salzburg, who are well-known for nurturing new strikers.

Consequently, it is possible that the competition will result in an increase in Matkovic’s pricing.
