Nottingham Forest has just over two weeks left to finalize their summer signings, but they now face strong competition for one of their targets.
Nuno Espirito Santo must be thrilled with the work done behind the scenes at Nottingham Forest this summer. Evangelos Marinakis has already approved six new signings, with the possibility of more to come in the next few weeks.
Forest is close to finalizing the signing of Ramon Sosa, with the player arriving in England for his medical after weeks of negotiations. However, the Reds are now facing stiff competition for another one of their targets.
Paris Saint-Germain Now Interested in Nottingham Forest Target
Forest has been proactive this summer, securing most of their signings early, allowing them to participate in a full pre-season under Nuno, including the training camp in Spain.
According to Romain Collet-Gaudin, Paris Saint-Germain has expressed strong interest in signing left-back Bradley Locko before the summer transfer window closes. The Ligue 1 giants are eyeing him as a potential replacement for right-back Achraf Hakimi.
2 infos mercato PSG :
Though Locko is primarily a left-back, he is versatile enough to play on the right side of the defense as well.
The 22-year-old has just returned to Stade Brest after competing in the summer Olympics under the management of Thierry Henry.
Nottingham Forest Keen on Bradley Locko
Despite PSG’s interest, Locko has also attracted attention from the Premier League, with Forest particularly keen on the £13m-rated defender. The club is prepared to offer him a significantly improved salary if he chooses to move from Ligue 1.
However, completing this deal will be a tough challenge for the Reds. The report also suggests that PSG is looking to sign Jadon Sancho from Manchester United, underscoring the French champions’ influence in the transfer market.
While the prospect of regular Premier League football might appeal to Locko, securing his signature will be no easy task for Forest.
