The situation sparked some concern among Newcastle fans when Guehi was selected by Palace for media duties with Sky Sports, leading to speculation that the transfer might be off. In response, North-East correspondent Keith Downie reassured fans, saying, “It’s not off, unless you know something we don’t?”
