As the Hatters look towards strengthening their squad for a promotion push this season, a decision needs to be made relating to a player currently on trial with the club.
With the services of – Shandon Baptiste – and – Reuell Walters secured, it seems that the experienced, 35-year-old, defender Erik Pieters could be added to the squad.
With the Hatters having started their pre-season friendly fixture campaign, Pieters has been given the chance to showcase his talents.
The former Dutch international defender, with 18 caps to his name, has a wealth of experience having played for Stoke City, Burnley and West Bromwich Albion, among other clubs.
Out of contract, Pieters, I believe, could do a decent job for the Hatters, especially if we have an injury crisis like last season.
But what is your verdict on this possible signing?
Does he have a lot to offer or should we be sourcing younger talent.
