OFFICIAL: AC Milan Faces Penalties Following Two Incidents During The Clash With Atalanta.

AC Milan received a fine from the Sporting Judge due to two incidents occurring in the 1-1 draw against Atalanta on Sunday night.

The official press release following Serie A’s 26th round revealed the decisions of the Sporting Judge, including a 10 thousand euros fine imposed on AC Milan.

This fine was a consequence of their supporters directing a laser light towards two opposing players in the 42nd and 45th minute of the first half. The incident occurred during Atalanta’s penalty kick, awarded controversially after a video review for an alleged high boot from Olivier Giroud on Emil Holm.

Although the supporters’ frustration with the decision was evident, the use of laser pointers is against regulations, posing potential danger to players. Despite the distraction attempt, Teun Koopmeiners successfully converted the penalty for Atalanta.
