The star player for Nottingham Forest, Murillo, is expected to be sought after during the summer transfer window. As Forest has made good use of the South American market recently, both Murillo and Danilo have made an impression; now, Forest is also considering Brazil goalkeeper Bento ahead of the summer transfer window.
During the summer transfer window, the left-sided defender, who was considered an unknown quantity, signed for the club for approximately £11 million. Manchester City pursued Murillo before he decided to sign with Forest.
It took him a few weeks to make his Reds debut. Nonetheless, the 21-year-old has been a constant in the Premier League ever since Steve Cooper gave him an unexpected start against Brentford in October.
Jamie Redknapp was impressed with Murillo’s performance during the campaign, particularly when Forest and Crystal Palace drew 0-0 in October. Cooper was a great admirer of the defender as well.
It’s been rumored that a star player may depart after Forest was docked four points for financial fair play violations. Given how difficult the upcoming cycle will be for Forest as well, Murillo has been connected to a £50 million departure.
In order to organize his future, the footballer has now taken a few steps away from the football field. It might not be good news for Forest, considering what has been shared on Instagram in the past day or two.
Murillo joins a new agency while teams keep an eye on the Forest star
This is very standard in today’s sport, however it appears that Murillo has since signed with a different agency. His new representatives may be in charge of finding him a new club, according to a post they published on Instagram yesterday night.
Murillo and Liverpool have been closely associated. They are not alone in the race, though, as the Forest man is rumored to be liked by Chelsea, Arsenal, and Manchester City.
As per Instagram, Forward Team is currently representing Murillo. Although it’s unclear exactly who else they represent, it’s evident from their social media presence that they focus on South American football players.
They might be in for a huge summer with their newest client, considering the rumors that Murillo might be leaving Forest.
This summer, Forest might have to sell a valuable asset.
Although it’s a terrible reflection on the state of current football, Forest stands to gain a great deal of money from the sale of Murillo given what they paid for him.
Financial fair play will likely remain a cloud over Forest’s 2019–20 season, therefore it may be required to sell one valued asset. Murillo does seem very replaceable, and the club will have to decide how best to use the funds.
Additionally, Morgan Gibbs-White and a transfer from Forest have been connected. In addition to being more difficult to replace, he would probably be more difficult to persuade prospective clubs to part with the £50 million that Forest would probably require.
It would be disappointing if Forest sold Murillo. Nevertheless, clubs the size of the Reds will always be compelled to sell their players year after year due to the current financial fair play regulations.
It will be difficult to replace him sufficiently. If he is sold this summer, Forest should be able to uncover another gem akin to Murillo, as they have been very haphazard in the transfer market.
