It’s difficult to dispute that Swayman is the top goalie in the playoffs.
Jeremy Swayman has arguably been the Bruins’ standout player in the Stanley Cup playoffs, bolstering Boston’s fight against the Florida Panthers with his confidence in goal.
Swayman’s poise has elevated his postseason performance, benefiting the entire team. The 25-year-old leads remaining second-round goalies with 322 saves, a .933 save percentage, and a 2.16 goals-against average.
Head coach Jim Montgomery acknowledged Swayman’s impact, stating, “He’s been fantastic since Day 1 of the playoffs. His confidence and presence give us a sense of security.” Montgomery praised Swayman’s athleticism and hockey sense, noting, “There’s an air about him that makes us feel invincible.”
Boston supported Swayman well in Game 5 and aims to do the same in Game 6 to keep their season alive.
