Milan pursues the Bundesliga striker more aggressively even though they have other possibilities.

In an effort to better comprehend Stuttgart attacker Serhou Guirassy’s degree of interest, AC Milan has increased their communication with him.

Guirassy is one of the players on the list as the Rossoneri look to keep as many striker options open as possible heading into the summer, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan News).

With a €17.5 million release clause, Guirassy would be the least expensive option available to Milan; nevertheless, at 28, he is older than the other candidates and unlikely to repeat his Stuttgart form in Italy.

Milan might want to maintain Guirassy’s interest so that there’s a cheap backup plan in case a move for RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko or Bologna’s Joshua Zirkzee doesn’t work out.

Guirassy’s release clause might not be activated for long because he has amassed an incredible 25 goals in 24 Bundesliga games this season and has drawn interest from all across Europe. Additionally, he has two goals in the DFB Pokal.

Milan must make sure they sign a productive striker this summer because Olivier Giroud is departing for LAFC.
