Chukwueze has not found the net in Serie A for Milan this season.
According to Italian football expert Pietro Mazzara, the Milan board is expressing dissatisfaction with Samuel Chukwueze’s performance since his summer move from Villarreal in a deal exceeding twenty-five million euros.
Despite scoring two goals in the UEFA Champions League, Chukwueze has struggled to secure a regular spot in the Serie A starting lineup, making just seven league starts due to Christian Pulisic’s impressive form.
In twenty-two league appearances, he has managed only one assist. The seven-time UEFA Champions League winners are reportedly contemplating a replacement for the Nigerian winger in the summer if his performances do not improve.
Pietro Mazzara, a correspondent for Sky, highlighted Chukwueze’s lackluster performance against Empoli as the season’s low point, citing a lack of impact and missed clear-cut chances.
Mazzara revealed internal dissatisfaction within the club regarding Chukwueze’s Serie A performances, casting doubt on his future with Milan. Reports suggest that AC Milan is considering the possibility of sending Chukwueze on loan next season to reignite his form, following a similar strategy employed with Charles De Ketelaere.
