There are just five players out of contract for Wigan this season: Mike Cooper, Ryan Hampshire, Willie Isa, Patrick Mago, and Jacob Douglas are all in the last year of their current contracts. Peet acknowledged that he was content with the circumstances, though, and that he will have a stable team in place for the 2025 campaign.
“I don’t think our team will look all that different next year, which is encouraging for us,” Peet stated. “Given their youth and abundance of years ahead of them, we believe the squad we have will only get better over the next few years.
“I don’t think we’ll be doing a lot of business. The pay cap and quota are in place for a purpose, but always have an open mind and keep an eye on the market.”
