Marco Silva acknowledges Newcastle’s intention Fulham’s Tosin Adarabioyo is leaving.

In addition to stating that Newcastle United is prepared to make purchases in the summer, EDDIE HOWE has stated that the Magpies are keenly watching the free-transfer market in advance of the transfer window’s reopening.

In recent weeks, Newcastle has held conversations with both Bournemouth defender Lloyd Kelly and Fulham center-half Tosin Adarabioyo. Both players are expected to become free agents this summer.

Adarabioyo is expected to depart Craven Cottage when his current contract ends, according to Fulham manager Marco Silva. Newcastle is presently leading the fight to recruit him.

Another long-term priority for Newcastle’s recruitment team is Kelly, who also appears certain to depart this summer. The team is actively attempting to maximize its opportunities in the free-transfer market.

We’re looking into every market,” Howe said in advance of tomorrow’s match at Burnley. “We should do anything that we feel will help us. We’re considering all of our options and themes, not just the free transfer market in isolation. In my opinion, it’s not exclusive.

However, Howe acknowledges that it will be crucial for the team to continue obtaining the most value for money when they carry out their transfer business this summer, given that the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability will continue to limit Newcastle’s options in the transfer market.

Naturally, our goal is to do good business,” the head coach of Newcastle stated. “We’re not attempting to overspend; that won’t change while I’m here.

We’re searching for athletes who, in our opinion, are worth the money that teams would be willing to pay. But as I said, it’s not limited to any one theme—we’re constantly on the lookout for fantastic offers.

Adarabioyo is expected to leave Craven Cottage this summer, according to Silva. However, after benching the defender for Fulham’s draw with Crystal Palace the previous weekend, the manager may decide to bring him back for tomorrow’s match against Brentford.

My choice from last weekend was a technical one, Silva stated. “Obviously, I am aware of all the commotion around Adarabioyo and his future.

“I have been in communication with him, of course. We share a tight relationship, just like the other players, and there is no doubt about anything between the two of us, as well as between him and my staff.

“If I decide that Tosin should be in the squad, he will be in the squad and on the field if he is going to be on the field. Nothing from the previous week has changed.

I’d rather keep it between us when the news starts to surface that he won’t be joining us for the upcoming season. I know what he told me. Naturally, that is a choice made by the player. Other than that, though, Tosin is prepared to participate or join the team should I want to do so.

“When Tosin makes the decision to be clear about his future, he needs to communicate about it and be explicit about it. Naturally, our goal in being here is to try to best position the football club for the future.

We have not concealed the fact that we are trying to extend our contract with him and other players who are getting close to the end of their deals, and it has not been an easy task. It’s likely that he won’t be spending his future at the club.
