Latest Nottingham Forest news as ex-Reds Lingard gets to grips with new club FC Seoul in South KoreaIt’s rumored that Jesse Lingard, a former attacker for Nottingham Forest, got a dressing down from his new management.
These days, Lingard works for FC Seoul in South Korea. After being cut loose by the Reds in the summer, he had been without a team until joining the club last month.
He has so far made three appearances for Seoul as a substitute. His effort levels were reportedly questioned at his most recent one, though.
Lingard hadn’t participated in a competitive game before moving to Seoul; that was in April 2023, when he entered the game late and helped Forest lose 2-0 to Manchester United. Throughout the course of the season, he made 20 appearances and netted two goals for the City Ground.
With regard to his move to the K-League, the 31-year-old recently stated: “I’ve always wanted a different challenge and to create new memories in my career.” That is, in my opinion, best done in South Korea.”
“At a press conference, Lingard stated that FC Seoul had demonstrated a great deal of passion by making a tangible offer on paper, even though other clubs were reaching out to him.” “They also traveled to Manchester to examine my physical state.”
