Macron is revealed by CWI as the West Indies Teams’ official team kit supplier and new technical partner.

Cricket West Indies (CWI) and renowned European sportswear company Macron have announced a new technological collaboration. The West Indies Men’s and Women’s teams will wear new team jerseys for the first time as part of this partnership for the forthcoming Series against England.
The new T20 International (T20), One Day International (ODI), and training kit clothing will feature the adored West Indies maroon, a treasured emblem among fans in the Caribbean and around the world, bringing a fresh look to the team’s uniforms for the highly anticipated games.

Macron is an Italian sportswear manufacturer that has been delivering equipment and sportwear to professional athletes, sports players, and teams for more than 50 years. Macron is the new official technical partner and team outfit supplier for CWI.

High-performance materials used in the team jerseys not only enhance performance but also lessen energy and plastic waste production. Because each jersey is manufactured with a unique 100% PET recycled polyester thread derived from thirteen recycled bottles, the garments are produced with less energy. The new alliance also advances CWI’s goals of lowering energy use, increasing sustainability, and decreasing plastic waste—all of which are critical for the future of the Caribbean region.

The three-match CG United ODI Series, which begins on December 3 at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua, and the T20I Series, which begins on December 12 at Kensington Oval in Barbados, will include the unveiling of the new team uniform designs.

“CWI is looking forward to a great technical partnership with Macron as a top-quality sports brand supplying technical apparel to sports teams around the world,” said Dominic Warne, Commercial Director of CWI. We think the new uniform will benefit the environment in addition to being adored by players and spectators. The athletes will have access to top-notch technical clothing to meet their demands for peak performance. We are confident that supporters will like the new maroon jersey designs, which are available for purchase at all West Indies games in addition to Macron’s online store. Using recycled plastic bottles in their manufacture will also have a good environmental impact on the team shirts. We anticipate a sea of maroon as fans gather to watch West Indies in the stands and on the streets.

Gianluca Pavanello, CEO of Macron, stated: “We can be especially proud of this partnership given the history, success, and international prestige of West Indies Cricket.” This provides another evidence of the high calibre and dependability of the team apparel we provide to the increasing number of sports federations that opt to display the Macron Hero on their breast. Our goal is to create game sets and technical clothing that embody the identity, emblems, and history of West Indies cricket.
