Longhorns Legend Vince Young Caught On Video Getting Knocked Out In Bar Fight

Since leaving the NFL in 2014, former quarterback Vince Young has led an intriguing life and occasionally displayed odd behavior.

This week, it was discovered that the 40-year-old Texas Longhorns legend had been involved in a chaotic bar fight that ended when he looked to be knocked unconscious. This put him back in the headlines.
According to TMZ, Young was involved in an incident on February 4 at around 9 PM inside Tokyo Joe’s Shot Bar in Houston, Texas. Young really ended his NFL career in 2011 with the Philadelphia Eagles.

The bar fight is seen on camera, which TMZ was able to obtain. Young is shown wearing a black shirt, shorts, and white hat, while another man is seen fighting verbally with some other customers.
As the confrontation gets more heated, other people are seen being shoved by the Rose Bowl Hall of Famer.

One of those individuals is then seen tossing his drink into the face of another individual, who happens to be the proprietor of the bar, and making contact with the owner’s head with an elbow.

One of the men clocks Vince Young, sending him to the ground and seemingly knocking him out cold, just as the combat, which featured multiple punches, looks to be coming to an end.

The Houston Police Department responded to the battle scene, but Young—who ultimately stands up in the video—was not charged with any offenses.

The owner of the tavern claims that the altercation started over a discussion about race and got heated when he ordered the men to leave.

In 2017, Young suffered an injury that ended his pro football career with the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the CFL. He holds multiple records in college and at the University of Texas, including being the first player in NCAA I-A history to pass for 3,000 yards and rush for 1,000 yards in the same season.
