Texas Longhorns athletic director Chris Del Conte has been honored as the Athletic Director of the Year by the Sports Business Journal. This recognition comes after Texas athletics achieved 15 conference championships in their final season in the Big 12 Conference. Texas will be joining the Southeastern Conference later this summer.
