Leeds United will be without Dan James and Patrick Bamford when they host Hull City
The news could be tempered by a debut for winger Largie Ramazani, although Leeds boss Daniel Farke has suggested the new arrival this week may not be ready to be thrown into the starting XI, likewise fellow new signing Manor Solomon.
The Whites are continuing to push for two more signings and expect to get those deals done before tomorrow’s transfer deadlines but those players are near certainties to also not feature with the deals possibly not even completed in time for them to be registered.
“There’s a few question marks in offensive positions. How much Largie and Manor are involved, we will see. It is definitely good that they are there. Largie has the advantage he has played this season, Manor was involved in four friendlies for Tottenham – in terms of fitness.”
The loss of James will be felt most given his minutes so far this season, with Bamford a bit-part player in the early stages who is yet to start a game. The loss of the pair underlines the transfer need for Leeds to bring in fresh faces after so many summer departures, with Farke having a small squad at his disposal.
