During the Bulls’ two-game road trip, three players will remain in Chicago to heal from ailments.
The Chicago Bulls will begin 2024 with two road games around the East Coast. A couple of the players will stay in Chicago when they visit the Philadelphia 76ers and the New York Knicks. Every Bull who isn’t there is preparing to make a comeback from an injury.
Due to soreness in his right foot, Zach LaVine has missed the last month of play. He is currently in the last stages of his recovery, and on Monday, the Windy City Bulls signed him so he could practice while the team was away.
A left adductor injury has kept Nikola Vucevic out of action. The big man had a window of seven to ten days to make his comeback, beginning when the Bulls get back from their road trip.
Out of the three, Torrey Craig is the least in shape. Due to a right plantar fascia sprain, the seasoned forward will be out for the near future. Craig was given a 4-6 week timeline by the Bulls when they disclosed his injury on December 19.
The Bulls have shown they can defeat anyone in spite of these absences. But if the Bulls hope to keep moving up the rankings and into the NBA playoff picture, they will need depth because of their heavier schedule in January and February.
