For the second time in his college career, Taulia Tagovailoa—brother of Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa—has made an entry through the NCAA transfer portal. With 11,256 passing yards, the former quarterback of the Alabama Crimson Tide and Maryland Terrapins leads the Big Ten in passing yardage. Teams in need of a steady hand will undoubtedly show a great deal of interest in this player.
However, there are still certain issues regarding Tagovailoa’s transfer, so there’s no assurance he’ll be permitted to play six more seasons of collegiate football. Tagovailoa must first receive a waiver from the NCAA to continue his eligibility for another season.
Although Tagovailoa is only a one-year fix for any team, in his three full seasons as a starter at Maryland, he has demonstrated that he is capable of running a successful passing attack. These three locations could make sense, but Tagovailoa still has a long way to go before he’s cleared to transfer.
