A regrettable injury update was released by the Chicago Bulls the night before their NBA Play-In game. Onuralp Bitim, a forward, will miss the entire postseason due to a detached retina in his right eye.
Throughout the regular season, Bitim played in 23 games for the Bulls and added spark off the bench as injuries mounted. In 11.7 minutes per game, the Turkish forward averaged 3.5 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 0.6 assists.
Bitim signed a two-way contract with the Bulls in the summer of last year. But in February, following injuries to team mainstays and his impressive G League play, Chicago awarded Bitim a regular contract.

Bulls Injury Report Expands Bitim is the latest addition to a long list of Bulls sidelined by season-ending injuries.
Alongside Zach LaVine (right midfoot surgery), Patrick Williams (left midfoot surgery), and Lonzo Ball (left knee surgery), he will be watching postseason action from the sidelines. Julian Phillips (sprained right foot) is probably not going to play either.
