Former Alabama Analyst Phil Savage Named Interim GM of New York Jets
Phil Savage, a former Alabama graduate assistant and color analyst for the Crimson Tide Sports Network, has been named the interim general manager of the New York Jets.
Savage has a long history of executive experience in football, including serving as the executive director of the Senior Bowl and as the senior vice president and general manager of the Cleveland Browns.
The Jets are currently 3-8 in the 2024 season and have fired their head coach and general manager in recent weeks.
