Huge Claim made about Ipswich Town’s owners, additional investment secured

Ipswich Town is hoping that its remarkable success in recent years will continue as they pursue promotion to the Premier League. Henry, an Ipswich Town fan pundit, has praised the Portman Road owners.

Ipswich Town hopes to rejoin the Premier League.

The Tractor Boys experienced a new low point in their contemporary history in 2019 when they were demoted to League One following years of languishing in the Championship.

Ipswich was having trouble putting up a strong fight for promotion, even in the third division. However, that began to change in April 2021 when Gamechangers Ltd. finished acquiring the Suffolk team.

Since then, everyone associated with the club has experienced greatness, thanks to the wise decision made by the new owners to appoint Kieran McKenna as head coach.

The club gained promotion to the Championship in his first full season in charge, playing some fantastic football in the process. The former Manchester United coach has transitioned to his first senior post with ease.

This has persisted in the second division, and there’s a very good probability Ipswich will receive promotions back-to-back.

Owners of Ipswich Town have high ambitions

Not only has the pitch at Ipswich improved, but plans for a brand-new, multi-million dollar training complex have also been made public.

It’s a wonderful moment to be an Ipswich supporter, regardless of how the promotion push turns out, and fan commentator Henry expressed this excitement by telling FLW how happy he is with the present system.

League One and League Two Salary cap: What it means for Ipswich Town

I would honestly give them 10/10. I don’t think there’s anything better that they could be doing, or have done.

The way the club was under Marcus Evans to where it is now is genuinely like two different clubs. The fans are all on side, the investment on and off the pitch.

Off the pitch is massive, changes to the training ground, small improvements at the stadium, like new images, cleaning up the outer areas, it gives a good feeling about the place. The plan about new investment in the local area is fantastic, and I think fans really get on board with that.

On the pitch, they’ve been investing, and they’ve also sorted McKenna’s contract, so it hasn’t run down like it previously would have done.

There is genuinely no complaint, let’s just hope it stays around because good owners are quite hard to come by, so if anything happens with them, I hope the club is in a position to keep investing and moving forward.

But, at the moment, I really don’t think there’s anything else they could’ve done better. Players, managers, staff, stadium, infrastructure, and then plans going forward, they’re all fantastic, so 10 out of 10.”

Ipswich Town secure additional investment

It has been confirmed that a private equity firm from the US has bought a 40% stake in the club, in a deal that could be worth up to £105m.
The impact it will have on the team will become clearer over time, but CEO Mark Ashton has stated that the club would not alter its approach to the transfer market in advance of the summer window.
