HANLON, STEVENSON, AND JOELLE MURRAY TRIBUTES IN HQ MAGAZINE!

HQ Magazine’s Tributes to Hanlon, Stevenson, and Joelle Murray! The iconic careers of Paul Hanlon, Lewis Stevenson, and Joelle Murray are honored in the most recent issue of HQ Magazine! The magazine spans 100 pages and is divided into sections that honor the three defenders who have combined for almost 1,600 senior appearances for Hibernian FC. We spoke with Paul’s wife, Danielle Hanlon, during his section, and she shared her insights into Paul’s personality both on and off the field as a family guy. While Tam Smith, the coach of Hutchinson Vale, provided insight on Hanlon’s early football career and his great mentality from an early age. Smith remembers, “Paul was my captain at Hutchie from seven-a-side all the way through.”

 

“It was an easy decision for me to make because of the way he conducted himself; he was well-respected and looked up to, and he was always early.”He had many excellent habits and always kept his boots clean, both of which were essential for athletes hoping to advance.Teammate Siobhan Hunter, who has been Joelle’s pitch partner since 2009, pays a heartfelt homage to her in her chapter, highlighting her impact on motivating the next generation. Siobhan stated: She is an excellent player, an even better person, and a wonderful leader, so any new player who sees her cannot help but be impressed. “She is everything.”you would want in a captain, and it means the world to her wearing that armband.”
