While it may not match the excitement of gearing up for a Philadelphia Eagles game or the thrill of heading out to tailgate at a Birds game, there’s an alternative option to consider during what could be another early exit for the 76ers from the NBA Playoffs – the UFL.
The USFL and XFL have joined forces, solidifying the presence of spring football. As we eagerly anticipate another Red October with 162 Phillies games ahead, football junkies like us will also keep an eye out for any updates on the Eagles ahead of the NFL Draft.
So, even the UFL will be on our radar because, well, it’s football, and we simply can’t get enough.

Unfortunately, the Philadelphia Stars have disappeared once again, marking the second time this has occurred. Following the merger of two spring leagues, the team representing the City of Brotherly Love failed to secure a spot.
The UFL now consists of two conferences: the USFL Conference, featuring the Birmingham Stallions, Houston Roughnecks, Memphis Showboats, and Michigan Panthers, and the XFL Conference, comprising the Arlington Renegades, D.C.
Defenders, San Antonio Brahmas, and St. Louis Battlehawks. At least Saint Louis can find solace in not losing another professional football franchise this time around.
