Neil Harris, the manager, has disclosed that the striker has been dropped from the first squad due to an internal issue. In the same boat as you is Michael Obafemi.

We sincerely appreciate Michael’s efforts, since he has performed admirably for us while on loan. He wasn’t going to feature today, just as he didn’t feature for us off the bench the other day. I’d much prefer use our own players, who have received flawless training.
Furthermore, it’s a disciplinary issue concerning norms and culture with Kevin. There isn’t a more pressing issue at this time. Moving forward, Kevin will play an important role on our football team. But I decided to go with the group I did because it wasn’t appropriate to include him today.”
Michael has performed brilliantly for us while on loan, therefore we truly appreciate his efforts. He wasn’t going to play today, any more than he didn’t play off the bench for us the other day. Using our own players, who have had excellent training, is far more my preference.
