Midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has departed Leicester City for Stamford Bridge, completing a significant transfer to Chelsea. The 25-year-old, who progressed through Leicester’s youth ranks and gained valuable experience on loan at Blackpool and Luton Town, notably during the Covid-restricted 2020-21 season, where he impressed with 40 appearances and three goals for Luton. His return to Leicester saw him make a Premier League debut and feature prominently in European competitions, culminating in his selection for the UEFA Europa Conference League Team of the Season as Leicester reached the semi-finals.
Despite Leicester’s subsequent relegation, Dewsbury-Hall remained a pivotal figure, contributing 12 goals in 49 matches as Leicester clinched the Championship title last season.
