Elie Youan responds to a Hibs fan’s absence comment on social media by telling him to “shut your mouth.”

Elie Youan advised a Hibs supporter to “shut your mouth” in response to a remark regarding his expulsion from the team yesterday.

The Frenchman was noticeably absent from the Hibees squad for their whole matchday roster as they defeated St Johnstone 3-1 in their maiden encounter with the bottom six yesterday. An admirer then conjectured as to why, adding that he wouldn’t object to the forward leaving Easter Road.

“Hopefully searching for a move, the guy frustrates me,” he wrote. He would be fine if he would put an end to all of the showy things, shoot more, track back, and assist in defense.” The 25-year-old was irritated by that and retorted violently, saying, “Shut your mouth, I’m injured.

With one commenting, “Don’t listen to him, we love you Youan,” and another adding, “Show pony with the most goals and assists in the team,” other fans seemed to be siding with the player. You’re right.

“I think u would be a cracking player if u just done the basic track back n pass the ball rather than all the tricks,” the original poster then returned. It’s not only me who has this thought. I hope your injuries don’t worsen.”

Youan has been a dangerous player moving forward, with ten goals and 10 assists so far this season. However, this is not the first time that supporters have questioned him and shown disapproval of his off-ball duties.
