Ebere Eze has delivered a ruthless message to Joachim Andersen as the Crystal Palace teammates gear up to face each other at UEFA EURO 2024.

England will face Denmark in Matchday Two of Group C on Thursday, June 20th, where Crystal Palace’s No. 10, Ebere Eze, will go up against his teammate, No. 16 Joachim Andersen. This match will also see Palace players Marc Guehi, Adam Wharton, and Dean Henderson in action.

So, what did Ebere Eze have to say about facing Joachim Andersen at UEFA EURO 2024? Let’s take a look…

What Ebere Eze said about Joachim Andersen
Speaking after England’s disappointing 1-0 loss to Iceland on Friday night, Palace TV asked the England No. 21 for his thoughts on facing the Dane in Group C.

Eze, showing his competitive edge, said, “Yeah, teammate at Palace, but out there, he’s not gonna be our friend. We’re going to do everything we can to win.”

In response to the same question, Guehi replied, “We’ll come to that when it comes, I’m not gonna say too much. We’ll see each other soon, that’s all I’m gonna say.”

Every England fan should appreciate Eze’s response – in our view, at least.

The Three Lions have a fantastic chance of winning UEFA EURO 2024 this summer, but a significant part of their success will depend on their mentality and determination.

Listening to Eze, he seems to be in the right mindset heading into his first major tournament, which is great news for England supporters.

Incredible Crystal Palace statistic regarding UEFA EURO 2024 emerges
With four players in the England squad and another in Denmark’s team, Group C is notably populated by Crystal Palace players.

In fact, according to statistician Duncan Alexander, 4.8% of all the players in Group C are employed by Crystal Palace, which is impressive for a club not participating in European competitions.

Hopefully, all five can impress at UEFA EURO 2024 before returning to Selhurst Park ready to achieve something special under Oliver Glasner.
